{"id":1033,"date":"2016-02-20T15:34:48","date_gmt":"2016-02-20T14:34:48","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/evs-eu.org\/en\/?p=1033"},"modified":"2016-03-27T10:51:10","modified_gmt":"2016-03-27T08:51:10","slug":"evs-congress-2016-in-leuven","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/evs-eu.org\/en\/evs-congress-2016-in-leuven\/","title":{"rendered":"EVS Congress 2016 in Leuven"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>16th CONGRESS OF THE EUROPEAN REGISTRARS<br \/>\n26 and 27 May 2016 \u2013 Leuven, Belgium<br \/>\nInvitation<br \/>\nLadies and gentlemen,<br \/>\nDear colleagues,<br \/>\nWe kindly invite you to participate in the 16th conference of the European Association of Registrars (EVS) that will be held on 26th and 27th May 2016 in the university town of Leuven, Belgium.<br \/>\nThe congress is organised by the EVS in collaboration with the Flemish Association of Registrars (VLAVABBS).<br \/>\nYou are very welcome to join us and to exchange information with colleagues from across Europe.<br \/>\nOn the first day, the conference will focus on the central theme of \u2018Citizenship in Europe at a turning point \u2013 Consequences for international family law and registrar\u2019s work\u2019. We are proud that we will also be able to present news from the European Commission and to discuss about current problems with refugees and stateless persons in our working field.<br \/>\nOn the second day we will dream of a vision for the future in Europe: \u2018One civil status throughout the EU\u2019. The current situation and related problems teach us that we don\u2019t need a lesser Europe, but more genuine European solutions.<br \/>\nArrival of the participants is foreseen on Wednesday 25th of May 2016. Departure is scheduled on Saturday 28th of May 2016.
