Belgium Burgerzaken Vlaanderen vzw

Burgerzaken Vlaanderen vzw, the Flemish Association of Registrars, was founded in 1983. It represents the Dutch speaking registrars and civil servants working in the municipal registry offices in Belgium.

The goals of Burgerzaken Vlaanderen vzw are:
– to represent the registrars and their staff
– to defend their interests in contacts with the municipal, regional and federal authorities
– to develop and exchange good practices
– to influence new legislation in the field of interest (family law, civil status and population registration)
– to inform members about the activities of the association and of novelties in the field of interest.
